Rebranding A Visual Style
Of A Beauty Clinic

CHALLENGE

Korean pop culture has long been a trend in Indonesia. Indonesian ladies have been inspired to imitate Korean beauty techniques. In Indonesia, Seoul Beauty Studio is a clinic that offers these cosmetic procedures. They offer a variety of Korean cosmetic treatments, such as Korean lash extensions, Korean eyebrow embroidery, and more. However, the clinic does not have a website where clients can schedule appointments. Customers manually schedule appointments through private messages. They contacted me as a freelancer to design the the website’s visual for them. Additionally, as they lacked a cohesive style, the social media channels also need rebranding.

GOALS

Providing a fresh visual aesthetic for the website, social media, and other digital platforms. The brand's personality must be reflected in the style. The clinic can attract more potential clients if its visuals are consistent and appealing.

THE USERS

Indonesian women between the ages of 18 and 35 who value their outer looks and are fans of Korean culture.

THE PROCESS

I was better able to understand the objectives of the beauty studio after communicating with the owner. The owner desires to establish a clinic where Indonesian women won't have to go far in order to receive Korean aesthetic services. They can relax and take in the serene ambiance of the studio. I made a mood board based on the information I learned from the interview to determine the visual approach I would follow for the new visual style.

LOW FIDELITY WIREFRAMES

After finishing the moodboard, I sketched the first idea of the prototype and later I showed to the client. Once it got approcved, I digitized the sketches and created low fidelity wireframes to work out the information architecture of the home page.

The final website perfectly describes the cosmetic clinic's identity and the services it offers. The colour scheme radiates calmness and serenity. When clients attend the clinic, these are the two emotions the clinic wants to evoke in them. In addition, the website displays a more refined and exquisite example of beauty treatment resuls.

Although their prior Instagram design was good, there were too many texts and other elements. As a result, it caused chaos. I also recognised how the posts' colours were inconsistent with one another.
